About Me

Hey folks , just learning to blog in a workshop. So I'll start out by telling you just a little about me. The 2013-14 school year was my 29th year of teaching art at Manteo High School and I loved it!I teach art 1,2,3, AP drawing and also a traditional crafts class. I went to ECU and majored in painting and drawing, later returning to acquire at teaching certificate and a Masters in Art Ed. I also am a National Board Candidate. As an art teacher one has to become a jack of all trades so that you can expose your students to a variety of media. My favorites to use are painting and batik and I try to create art every day.
